FAQs

• Can I bring a friend or family member?

  You may bring one guest, who must be over 18 years old and is respectful of other clients and artists. Children and minors are not permitted in the studio. Please also note: Excessive or disruptive guests will be asked to leave. Pets are prohibited by health department regulations, but service animals are allowed in the lobby area.

• Can I reschedule my tattoo session?

  You can reschedule your appointment once without penalty if you provide at least 5 days’ notice. Rescheduling with less than 5 days’ notice will forfeit your deposit, and a new one will be required. If you reschedule more than once, a new deposit will also be required.

• Can I see the design before my appointment?

  Your artist will share the design with you, if needed, after your deposit has been paid.

• Can I transfer my deposit?

  No, deposits are non-transferable and cannot be used by someone else.

• Can you use the picture I provide?

  Artists will avoid coping images as much as possible but may add their own unique touch. If you provide a personal drawing or handwriting, we’ll aim to replicate it as closely as possible. Some artist may need more references than others for creating a custom tattoo for you.

• Cancellation Policy

  Appointments require at least 5 days’ notice for cancellation. Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled within 5 days of the appointment.

• Do you offer cover-ups?

  Yes, but we require an in-person consultation before committing to a cover-up project. Artists may decline requests they cannot accommodate.

• Do you offer vegan/eco-friendly products?

  Most of our tattoo inks are vegan, and we can provide safety data sheets upon request. While we use single-use equipment, we strive to reduce plastic where possible.

• Do you offer walk-ins?

  Yes, we accept walk-ins during our opening hours. Availability is not guaranteed, so we recommend checking our social media for updates.

• Do you tattoo all areas of the body?

  Artists may refuse to tattoo certain body areas at their discretion. Under our PLI we can not tattoo the bridge of the nose between the eyes or genitalia

• Do you tattoo over scars?

  Yes, but the scar must be fully healed. Please contact us to schedule a free consultation.

• Do you tattoo under 18s with parental consent?

  No. The legal age for tattooing in the UK is 18, and parental consent does not override this law. Photo ID may be required.

• How do I book a tattoo?

  You can book a tattoo in one of the following ways:

  • In person at the studio - We accept walk-ins

  We aim to respond within 48 hours, but please note we do not operate 24/7. When reaching out, provide as much detail as possible:
  • Tattoo size
  • Placement
  • Image idea
  • Style (e.g., fine line, color, etc.)
  Once we have enough information, we’ll connect you with the artist to finalize the details. The artist will arrange the deposit, which must be paid to secure your appointment. • How do I pay a tattoo deposit?

  Your artist will request a deposit before your appointment and/or before any designs are sent to you. Deposits can be paid via:
  • Card payment - in the studio or online, our artist will send you a link to your preferred method of online payment.
  • Cash at the studio.
  Deposits are non-refundable unless the artist is unable to fulfil the appointment.

• How much is a deposit?

  Deposits are of the artists’ hourly rate or £30 dependant on the artist. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost.

• Minimum Charge Policy

  Artists have a minimum charge, which covers setup, clean-up, and supplies. This applies per person and per session. Multiple small tattoos in one session may be charged at an hourly rate. Tattoos taking more than an hour will exceed the minimum charge.

• Touch-Up Policy

  Courtesy touch-ups are free if completed within 6 months of the original tattoo and are done by the original artist, unless stated otherwise. Touch-ups are not free if Aftercare instructions were not followed and/or the tattoo is on a non-guaranteed body area (e.g., hands, feet, face). Significant changes to the design will be treated as a new tattoo and charged accordingly.

• What if I don’t like my design?

  Minor adjustments to your design can be made before the appointment. Substantial changes or a new design will require a new deposit, as the original deposit covers the artist’s drawing time. Please double-check all names and dates in your design.

• What if I get sunburned?

  We cannot tattoo sunburned skin. If you arrive with sunburn, your appointment will be rescheduled, and a new deposit will be required.

• What should I wear?

  Wear loose clothing that can be rolled up if needed. For back and/or torso tattoos, we suggest you bring a zip-up or button-up shirt to wear for warmth. But we will/can supply modesty towels/paper. Avoid light-coloured clothing, as tattoo ink may stain.
